“Eid was a big thing for us, for the kids. Both Eids. ‘Bookroja’ and ‘Bakara’ Eid. For the kids it was, and for the females. It was a competition to wear the best clothes or the latest design and there was kind of a secret competition so nobody would know what they would be wearing on the Eid day. Before Eid day itself, people would be secretly shopping and not showing stuff to anybody and then on Eid day itself they would wear their new gear and impress their friends.”

(Laughs to himself.)
