Minahil is a Pakistani student who attended Oxford University from 2015 to 2019, completing her undergraduate and master’s degrees in biochemistry. She grew up in Lahore, Pakistan, as the youngest of four siblings, and described herself as the “trophy child” of the family.
Religion played a significant role in Minahil’s upbringing, with her mother emphasising charity, community, and spirituality. This influenced Minahil’s experiences at Oxford, where she found community and support through the Islamic Society (ISOC) and Pakistani Society (PakSoc).
